I am looking for some further info and hopefully a picture of Wilhelm Klein when he was drafted into the Wehrmacht

Funkerreferent beim Armeenachrichtenkommandeur und beim General der Nachrichtentruppen

After war with Sicherheitspolizei D******252;sseldorf
1920 Entered Hamburg Schutzpolizei as Hauptmann
01.09.21 Major; Kommandeur des Nachrichtenmitteldienstes und Kommandeur verschiedene Bezirke
1933 Oberstleutnant; Chef des Stabes beim kommando der Schutzpolizei
01.10.34(1.9.34??) Oberst; Kommandeur der Schutzpolizei Hamburg
01.12.35 Official transferdate to WH
31.03.36 a. D.; Official discharge date from the Polizei

I know that he was transferred into the Wehrmacht Heer.
I have been told he recieved the (honourary?) rank of Charakterisierter General-Major.
He supposedly (allthough retired) was connected somehow to Infantery Regiment 44. Is it possible to confirm this?

As I do not know much of the Wehrmacht Heer I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me find more on Wilhelm Klein after his transfer into the WH.

Also I would be most appreciative if somebody has a picture of him wearing WH uniform

Is there anything more known about Klein after 1938 when he was re-activated.

It seems that from july 1938 untill may 1944 he was in full active service.

Any idea which units he commanded or belonged to ?
