Help with Panzer-Division-Feldherrnhalle-1 unit structure

Hi guys ( Ian )

Just trying to make sure that I have this right...

A Grenadier serving in the 6./Pz.Gren.Rgt. "FHH" in the winter of 1944/1945 would be in the 6.kompanie of the second Battalion, correct? According to the following info, there were two Panzer Grenadier (Jnf) Battalions, each with 3 companies:


Panzergrenadier Regiment Feldherrnhalle , Pz.Div.FHH-1
Staff
Staff Company
- Signals Platoon
- Panzerjäger Platoon
- Motorcycle Platoon
2 x Battalion
- Staff
- 2 x Panzerjäger Platoon
- Supply Company
- 3 x Company (mot)
- Flak Company (mot)
- Heavy Company (mot)
16. Heavy Infantry Gun Company (mot)
17. Pioneer Company (mot)

Looks about right but not sure about the number of the last two companies....

Thanks, I had done several google searches (one with the exact same wording ) but wanted to check in here just to be sure. I agree about the numbering for the last two co's but that's what I had found...

No sweat! I wasn't at home when I posted, but I have some reference material, including a copy of Escuadra Sanchez's "FHH: Forgotten Elite" so I'll check when I get home.
