    Pz. Pi. Batl 220

    Hi,
I am looking for any info on Pz Pi Batl 220 -1 Komp, if anyone has any?
Also any info on Pz Pi Ers Batl 2619 too?
Any info at all would be helpfull, I don't know exact dates of when the person served with them, but he was promoted to Stabsgefreiter whilst serving with them in Jan 1945.
    Many thanks,Lynton.

        Hi Lynton,

What normally is found on the above site usually mirrors what is in Tessin etc....sometimes more!
I will take a look at Tessin in a moment and see what is there, however the Ers.Btl. number does not look correct?

        Regards,
        Ian

P.S. I have also documents to this unit and the 21 Pz.Div. unit history....however I am not at home at the moment!

According to Tessin....Pi.Btl. 220 (later renamed Pz.) had it's replacement unit as:

          Pi.Ers.Btl.24 in Riesa, Wehrkreis IV

            Many thanks for the reply.
I may have read the replacement unit incorrectly,I'll see if i have a pictue I can post for you.
If you find any more info on this unit from your docs/unit history i would be pleased to hear from you.

              Hi Lynton,

That's Pz.Pi.Ers.Btl. 26 which was station in Höxter on the river Weser. It has then been scored out and replaced with 19 stationed in Holzminden.

              /Ian
