knights cross recipient help please

I wonder if anyone could help me with any details concerning Obergefreiter Wilhelm Klöpping of 5./PzGrenRgt 4 who was Awarded the Knights Cross sometime in 1943 .

Born-Elberfeld/Wuppertal 4/9/1919
Died-as above 9/5/1990.Won his award in the
Soviet Union with 6th Panzer Div.

Thanks for the details Harmel - Is it possible to find out what action this Award is for? I presume the 15/5/43 was the date of the Award but it would have been recommended for an action some months before?
