    I have recently discovered this photo which I find fascinating. I believe from what I have read that Franz Staudegger is one of the men in the photo.

              This is a painting produced within the last decade by an artist whose name escapes me. The baby is meant to represent Hitler. It is based on an actual photograph in which a very tired-looking Hitler (all grown up) stands where the-- ahem-- "MILF" (I tend to agree with that assessment, btw) appear.

              Quite a skilled artist, but I read somewhere that he's a very odd duck. There's a whole website devoted to his work; among the most interesting- a multi-canvas series depicting both living and deceased victims of the Nazis' euthanasia program (all children, if memory serves).

                Gottfried Helnwein - that's the artist's name. His official website is at http://www.helnwein.com/ . Again, very skilled but some of his work seems to border on kiddie-porn.

                                Thats an impressive photo but I believe is a photomontage....
                                The officer on the rtight is one of the last officer seen with Hitler on the last days of the wars...he appears in several photos outside the bunker with him.
