    Need help identifying this LAH Sturmbannfuehrer with Hitler. Other identifications of time and place as well as the officer in background also appreciated.

            Peter Hogl,at one time Deputy head
            of the RSD.

              I don't know the Sturmbannführer, but it's not Franz Staudegger - he was an NCO and officer candidate in 13./SS-Pz.Regt. 1, later s. SS-Pz.Abt. 101/501.

                      Hello,

                      The SS-Sturmbannfuhrer in the photo believe is Bruno Gesche, fourth Kdr. of the SS-Begleitkommando. He was a recipient of the Golden Party Badge and that would also explain his Adolf Hitler cufftitle.
