Brief Unit Information?

This is my first foray into the "Unit" section, so I hope this is the right place to ask this; I purchased a fanfare bugle with the following inscription on it, "Max Lindner Weiden-1936 III Inf. Regt. 41" Can anyone here provide any information either on the name/date, or the regiment? All help would be appreciated... Mike

Hi Glen-
Here are 4 images of my fanfare bugle. Both sides of the horn are engraved with the following wording, "Max Lindner Weiden-1936, 111 Inf. Regt. 41." Does anyone have unit history on this outfit in english? Thank You. MikeB
