    I looking for any information regarding Artillery Rgt 223 1 abteilung during the battle of Poland,more specifically during the dates of 26.8.1939 and 30.61940.

    hello sir
    here are some informations I have found:
    art rgt 233 is part of the 233 inf Div. commanded by Gen. Lt. Paul Willi Körner(sept 1939- apr 1941).
    In september 1939, it was in the army group C who stayed in west during the polish campain
    In may-june 1940, she was fighting in north of Lille in France.
