Help with Feldpost Number? 10567

Hello:

I picked up a M35 helmet last weekend with the Soldiers name painted inside and a number/letter combination below it. It looks like a Feldpost number but has some additional letters and numbers with it that I do not recognize and have not seen before. The complete line reads "O. 10567 40k" The 4OK could be "HOK", it is hard to tell. If any one has the feldpost books or knows the what this is I would very much appreciate knowing the unit or what it means. The helmet was brought back from ETO so the time of the number being painted would most likely be later war, post 1943.

That is a Kriegsmarine Stammrollennummer.

O - Admiral der Ostsee
10567 - Personal number
40 - Year joined Kriegsmarine 1940
K - Laufbahn or Military Career category.

Stammrollennummer der Kriegsmarine! I have been collecting for 25 years and there is always something new to learn. Thanks to both of you for answering. Is there a way to trace the number farther? I have his last name as well.
