    13th motorized flak division

    Can anyone please tell me a little bit about the 13th Flak Motorized Division. My uncle was in it I recently found out. All I really know is that he was involved fighting north of Moscow. They were using flak guns to shoot Russian tanks. Oh yes, the 13th was a Luftwaffe flak unit. Thanks, Charlie

    Well, the 13 Flak Division was formed and served in Northern France.

        Howdy; As long as we are on Flak Units. How about 13 Flak Regt I. A marking on a Luft chin strap. Same or5 close? Thanks Jerry

          As i understand it, roman numerals to the right of unit designations on equipment, like I, II, III are to do with grading. Someone posted a good explanation a while back, a search should find the thread.
