Hi

I received a small grouping of 3 items today belonging to one person:

- an Erkennungsmarke marked:
400 A
3/ Pz.Gren.Ausb.Batl.5

-a Begleitzettel für Verwundete where I can see a Truppenteil 05467 D for the Grenadier (I suppose this is the FP number) and a Truppenteil 12842 for the medic who signed the document. I cannot read the date on the document.

Can anybody confirm if these two items coincide and what info is hiding behind these 2 Fp numbers and the Erkannungsmarke.

Do you eventually have an idea what the 400 A on the Erkennungsmarke means?

400 would have been his roll number and "A" would have been his blood group.
