Thanks for your reaction and time to look this up. I found this info on ebay ( of all places )
Rupp was born on the 1st Aug 1920 in Stuggart. He was a member of the NJG-3 during WW2 who flew JU-88s from 1st Nov 1943 till the end of WW2. He is credited with 16 Night Victories including one Fortress and 15 British Lancasters and Halifax. He was awarded the Iron Cross, first and second class and the German Cross in Gold.
Bruno Rupp is the Flieger that shot down the lancaster that crashed at my town. I made a website about this crash for a lady that researches this crash:

DK winner
Though Rupp does not show up in Scherzer's book on DKiG recipients that certainly does not rule out his receiving the award. As you may know late in the war much of the paperwork and/or final confirmation of awards sometimes did not make it to the official lists. I have a few SB/WP which I am confident were awarded the DKiG and yet they do not show up in current publications.
Was Rupp's DKiG award noted on documents, SB/WP etc, or how exactly was it presented that he was a DKiG trager?

Hi all,
I have no real source for Rupp receiving the DKIG. Only that ebay artikel discription. The lady I made that website for has the following photo's of Rupp without DK.

Rupp
I'm beginning to think Rupp was indeed a DKiG winner, after doing a brief Google search his name comes up frequently. The two links below, just to give you a few, show info. on Rupp. The former link calls him out as a German Cross winner and though the listing is from 2003 the individuals who posted might be able to help you. Check also the Nachtjagd link at the bottom.

Herr Rüpp
Gentlemen :
Yes Bruno received the DK in Gold the last weeks of the war and I have a signed photo of Bruno in tunic with the award. A skilled marksmen as a Ju 88G-6 pilot in 1945 on one mission he shot down an RAF Lancaster with less than six 2cm rounds from his twin Schrägwaffen installation
