    trying to identify officer from Sanitat unit ?

    Hi Guys - I have this helmet - with oberleutnants last name and unit..:

    S.A.IX/1344 Oberltn. Simern-Sennecke

    helmet is a M35 repaint

    I thought it maybe a Sanitat Abteilung wehkreis IX.. - but It just my wild idea... - any help appreciated !!!

        Tessin records a Sonder Abteilung IX in existence between jan.1940 and may 1942. 1344 could refer to a company or platoon sized unit within the abteilung.


        That's the closest i can get i'm afraid
