Divisional Insignia (?) - Please Help ID

Hi Everyone,

I just wondered if anyone here can help me. I'm trying to identify one of two rings I recently acquired. Both of which are shown in this thread;

Whilst the one ring clearly relates to Sicily, I wondered if the enamel design might be divisional insignia or some such like.

Any ideas please let me know.
