I have been searching the net,but have not been able to find a picture to confirm who this this is.
I think it is General of the Infantry Heinrich Cloessner,commander of 25 ID in 1940,could anyone please confirm this is correct please?

You are right - it is definately Cloessner. Both the face and the signature fit.

In the book "die Ritterkreuzträger der deutschen Wehrmacht, 1939-1945, Teil III Infanterie, Band 4: C-Dow, ISBN 3-7648-2534-0" there are plenty of information about him.

General der Infanterie Philipp Karl Albert Reinhard Erich Clössner, born in Giessen (Hessen), 17.09.1888, died in Konstanz am Bodenseee 28.03.1976, Ritterkreuz on September 29 1940 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur der 25. Inf.Div. / XVIII. Armee-Korps / 9. Armee / Heeresgruppe A.

Begründung zur Verleihung des RK (Auszug):

Genlt Clössner hat am 5., 6. und 7. Juni 1940 durch sein persönliches Beispiel in vorderster Linie im feindlichen Feuer seine Truppe über den Oise-Aisne-Kanal vorwärts gerissen und mit ihr den Chemin des Dames und die Höhen von Laffaux erstürmt.

Unfortunately for you my scanner doesn't work. In that book I mentioned there is more info on this Gen.d.Inf. Clössner. Maybe another forum's member can help you out with some scans... there are also a couple of photographs as well.
