Feldwebel Wilhelm Vogel Ehrenpokal

Hello!
Can any one help, I´m search for the person and his german Luftwaffen-unit. Feldwebel Wilhelm Vogel, holder of the Ehrenpokal im Luftkrieg 26. 10. 1942 as Bordfunker. Knows any one the squadron or the unit.
I´search a long time, please help.

Hello Tobi,

The normal thing would be to have a look at the Ehrenliste on the date of his award, it would not tell you the unit but it would say "Bordfunker in einem Schlachtgeschwader" for example.

However he is not listed in the Ehrenliste for 26.10.1942 (not the two that I have!!! There obviously must be more for this date). He is mentioned in the postwar references giving the same date.........

If he had received any higher awards his unit would have been given but it appears he did not get anything higher.

thanks for your answer! I haven`t these Ehrenlisten. When I see this one list with he`s name- I'd like to be happy. Your tip is accurate, Bordfunker in einem ....?
But, in the postwar books listed only Bordfunker. When I know, what for Geschwader, I would be a step forward.
He's supposed holder of the Deutsches Kreuz i. Gold, but in the time october 44-mai 45 not listet.

I understand that the ehrenliste date of award may be as much as 7-10 days different than the date inscribed on the Ehrenpokal itself. I know mine is a few days off as I have a copy of the list along with the Ehrenpokal
