What is that for a Feldpostnumber? What for a Unit?

Where was the KW.Werkstatt Komp.305?The Soldier was 1942 dead.

Hi Tommy, do you have a specific date for the unit? For a period of time the feldpost number was indeed for Kw. Werkst. Kp. 305. It also appears they were involved in Stalingrad. Maybe someone else can provide more details on the unit.

Hi Tommy,

As I mentioned in the other thread this guy was a member of Werkstatt Kp. 305 was part of the Versorgung Einheiten 305 Inf.Div.
Sepember 1942 they were under 6 Armee around Stalingrad....where exactly I do not know....
Do you have the Division history?
