    Researching a Gen Officer?

I have a Gen officers Tunic and am wondering how to go about researching the name if at all possible... When I got it the eagle had been removed but The tabs, boards and all buttons are intact..

    inside tailor made label:

    C Louis Weber
    Hanover Heiligerstr. 12

    Oberstlt. Strabammer
    7. 3. 41. 5473 Leroll

This is all that is inside on the label

On the left pocket there are loops for a lengthy ribbon set and three badges on the pocket

On the right eagle pocket there are broken loops on the center base of the pocket.
There are also fittings under the collar for some type of collar decoration

I got this tunic free about 15 years ago and know nothing about it, The gentleman said his dad brought it back... He thinks his dad possibly fought in Italy? He said at one time he had a box of decorations and a pistol.

ANY help or suggestions would be most welcome

    general officer

Hi Yank, there is no Army General of that name, but there is a
Generalmajor Martin Strahammer and was an Obstlt at that time,
what is important if you have this uniform,is that he was a recipient
of the Knights Cross with Oakleaves.
