Gren Reg 426

Hi

I'm looking for information on Gren Rgt 426. They were part of the 126 Inf Div.
Does anyone know where they were from June 44 till surrender in May 45? Also battles they were in during that time.
Did they surrender to Russian or American forces? Any unit history books on this Rgt.

Jan, Thanks for response. Are either one of these books avaible,if so where? I got quite abit on 126 Inf Div from lexion files,but theres not much on the 426 Rgt.
