    Not sure about the first bit but..

      "Gewinn" means win, so this sword was won by the named soldier, maybee a shooting-compilation?

      Also of interest is that "Allenstein" (poland today, "Olstyn") is only located a few miles away from the "Wolfsschanze", Hitlers headquarter.
