i have an old helmet shell lying around. Just recently i saw that there is a faded FP number. Can anyone ID the unit ?

Thank you so much for taking the time and post all the infos.

Now I know a little more history about the helmet shell. It is tan painted on the outside so the guy was probably in Tunis with the helmet.
