I need the combat area from December 15th, 1.941 till August 29th, 1.942. Specially where it was on the final date, as one of "my" soldiers was killed in the particualr day and all I have is "killed by Rschew" on his death card and "killed 1 km. south of Lebsiw?, 25 km. northwest of Rschew" on his Wehrpass.

Hi Angel,

There is a basic map of the Rzhev salient on my site from 2nd July 1942...I have other more detailed maps from Glantz's Forgotten Battles self published series. There was a major Soviet offenisve against the Rzhev salient in August 1942.
