Pz.Abt.300 (FL)

Hello all, I wonder if anyone on the forum can help with some information on this unit. I know it to be a unit that used armoured remote control vehicles for mine clearance, the "FL" is I believe "Funkleit" or radio control. And could anybody show a picture of one of these vehicles.

Hi Ian,
I think FL stood for Funklenk or Fernlenk, later these units were redesignated Fkl. which stood for Funklenkpanzer....or basically a radio controlled tank!!!!

There is a good Book about this Unit see Wolfgang Schneider Tiger in battle ...In german and English is this Book.

It is in the Book pictures with Borgward etc..Follow Units gives..
