so in order to tell you a little about me, here is a bit about me.

I'm a 27 year old Dutch person with an interest in the strategic side of military history. I'm mainly into 'mechanized warfare' so most of the research I do is from the year 1914 (cradle of mechanised warfare) up to now.

Hi Wirbelwind-- welcome at this forum.

I like the movie Stalingrad also very much and saw it about four or five times now.

What do you collect?

I collect books, many books.

The main subject of those books is strategy. I'm very intested how the German army was build, and how it was commanded.

I also collect 'funny' things connected to German armed forces from WWII. That could be anything from scale model tanks to uniform items, but I'm mostly a book collector.

If you collect books you must go to 'De Krijger'. This is a bookstore in Erpe (Belgium). I was there yesterday. There are about 30.000 titles available about military history and very much about WWII. Unfortunately the shop has no website.
