Feldpost number help?

Could some one please help me with the following feldpost numbers? they are,

32473

08224

28903

the dates are,

c 45413844 or c 45413944 is 20/8/44

28903 is 20/12/41

32473 is 1/2/41

08224 is march 1940

I've never researched feldpost numbers before so I'm a bit cluless on them.

Hi Phil,

c 45413844 or c 45413944 is not a FP Nr....they consist of 5 numbers only! I won't complicate things as they also use letters as prefix and suffix, however 5 numbers is all you should have!!!

Thanks Ian for pointing that out, I've just had a look and the stamp actually says feldpost (at the top) - c (under feldpost) - 454 13.8.44 (under c) – then the eagle. It's just 3 numbers and a date?

Is there any books you can buy that have information on feldpost numbers?

I wonder if it is a Feldpost office rather than a Feldpost Number!!!
Yes, there is a 3 volume set available for FP Nr.....have a look for Kannapin in the search area...I have posted the info before.

I will have a look in a while for the numbers for you..perhaps Bradd is currently at work!

8224 San. Kp. 621

28903 Armee-Pfd. Laz.591

32473 Frontsammelstelle J Dijon

454 Stab III Armee-Nachr. Rgt 563.

If you have anymore feel free to post. I enjoy looking them up. I guess that means I lead a very boring life Anyway, I hope this helps.

This helps a lot, At the moment I don't have any other feldpost numbers I need to find out, although I now know who I can ask


Bradd and Ian do either of you have any information regarding these units? such as where they saw action, stationed etc or do you know where I would be able to find such information
