Sturm Bataillon 393

hello,

I have a IAB in silver document from this unit (Sturm Bataillon 393) and I would like to know if anyone can help me with the order of battle of this unit.
the only info that I have is that ( I dont know if is correct) the unit was destroyed in the Don area at the same time that the document was issued in march 1943 and that this unit was one that had to break the Stalingrad pocket.

can anyone confirm this or give me more info please??

Appears to have been a variant name for Sturmgeschütz Batterie 393. Look it up on Google.

Humberto as far as I can tell Sturm-Batillion 393 and Sturmgeschütz Batterie 393 are totally unrelated.. Sturm-Battalion 393 From what I can see was made up of four Kompanies and was with Heeresgruppe B from winter 42 and was destroyed in Feb.43 in Donbogen, I cant find any relation to I.R. 370 which appears to be the stempel
