    8th Coastal Artillery

    Hi all,
    Does anyone have any information specifically regarding the 8th coastal artillery at Juno Beach? Or any militaria regarding this regiment?
    As I have acquired this officers tunic and just thought it would be good for some information behind it.

    I'm a little confused, are you talking about an allied or German unit? If German Heer or Kriegsmarine?
    Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

      Sorry, I should have made it clearer. 8th Coastal, was a German unit of the Kriegsmarine.

        If you're thinking of a Marine Artillerie Abteilung or Regiment then there wasn't one numbered 8 AFAIK. There was a Marine Flak Regiment 8 though.
