7./SS-Pz.Grenadier regiment 25

Is there anybody who could provide me with more information about this unit?
There are several documents of one man I want to purchase, and he appeired to have served in Normandië as well as in the battle of the bulge. Was this unit located on those places?

Yes this unit fought both in Normandy and the Ardennes.

The SS-Pz.Gr. Rgt. 25 belong to the 12th SS Pz Div 'HitlerJugend'. The 7th Company was in the II battalion of this regiment. I have included a few names which you may wish to reference against for the signature at the bottom of the documents.

Normandy

CO Regt - Staf. Kurt Meyer (Div Co 14/6/44)
CO II Btl. - Stubaf. Scappini (KIA 7/6/44)
CO 7./ - Hstuf. Schrott (KIA 2/9/44)

Ardennes


CO Regt - Stubaf S Müller
CO II Btl. - Ostubaf. R. Schulze
CO 7./ - Ustuf. Stuhr


Dont forget that these people were in command (sometime very short period) during the battles only and as you may know the award documents are signed months later by somebody else. Hope this helps.
