A small museum here in Normandy has found a wood road-sign with the name "HOENSBROECH" in the vicinity of BERJOU. It seems that a Oberleutnant with the name "Ferdinand Graf von ünd zu Hoenbroech" has been killed the august 17, 1944 in that place. May be Hoensbroech was a kampfgruppe commander ? They need to your help to identify the unit of this oblt if it's possible, please ? Berjou was defended by the 276th ID, the 3FJD and some SS units of the 1st SS Division.
