As this subforum is dedicated to individual research, I thought my recent research about a soldier who fought and (most likely) perished in Stalingrad, might be of interest here.
Word of warning, the thread is quite long, however I subjectivly find it worth a read for anyone interested in the battle of Stalingrad. The thread has a map that I've made with a computer program on top of an old period map of the city, and it's accompanied by aerial photographs and other photos that I've located, which are associated with the fighting of the soldier.
