OKK ??? Help Please....

I have a Death Memorial card for an SS Panzer Grenadier.
On it it states "Angestellter der OKK Eggenfelden"
What organisation was the OKK within the Third Reich?
Any help would be much appreciated, as I cannot find any reference myself.

OKK (Oberkommando des Kriegsmarine): High command of the German navy.

I must respectfully disagree in that the abbreviation for the German Navy during WW II was OKM for "Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine". "OKK" stands for "Ortskrankenkasse" ( a local healthcare insurance company located and handling such matters in Eggenfelde).

May I ask where you found the reference to Ortskrankenkasse in Eggenfelde?
Seems to make sense, as I could only find OKM for the Navy.

Hello Ray.

The abreviation OKK is recalled by me from my earlier residence in Germany where such healthcare organizations were then and may still be in existence. As the locale, Eggenfelden then seems self-explanatory in conjunction with "OKK". In addition the term "Angestellter" or employe rounds it all off.
