29th Motorized Infantry Division

Can anyone tell me where I can get information on this unit, in particular, the 71 Infantry Regt.

I know that it was part of Guderian's group and was considered (by him) to be one of the best divisions in the army. I know it was part of the Smolensk battles, was upgraded to a Panzergrenadier Division, destroyed in Stalingrad, reconstituted and spent the rest of the war in Italy. Can you add anything to this? I know Feldgrau has it listed but no information.

Anything else? Is there any good book about the unit or includes the unit? In English?

As you can see there are a couple of books on the division and i'd bet they'd have all the info you'd want.....but they're in German, I have no idea if they've been translated. It would be nice to see more of these divisional histories translated into English and not just the few on the more popular ss\fj\panzer divisions.
