    Andy,
At a quick glance I have only been able to find the following information
    FP Nr 50945 {8.9.1943-22.4.1944} 28.10.1943 III. Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 302.

As for FP Nr 51780 I have only been able locate the following information
{1.5.1942-19.10.1942} Stab, Stabs-, 1.-5. u. Kraftfahr-Ersatz-Batterie leichte Flak-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 95, which is outside of your time frame.
    Regards
    Si

        Andy,

        Correcting the above post..........:

FP Nr. 51780 belonged to Stab, Stabs-, 1.-5. u. Kraftfahr-Ersatz-Batterie leichte Flak-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 95 during the period you are interested in.

The dates (1.5.1942-19.10.1942) means that during this time the FP Nr. was introduced for this unit. The FP Nr. remained with this unit until the end of the war.

From other sources I can confirm it was foremd on 1.7.1942.

It's OK having information but you need to know what to do with it

        /Ian

It was a Flak Training Battalion with a Motor/Transport Batterry.......here is what I have:

            Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 95
            Formed 26.8.1939 in Luftgau VII, 1941 renamed leichte Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 95 Frankfurt/Main; became on 1.7.1942 the leichte Flak-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 95 with 5 Batteries and Kraftfahr-Batterie (later leichte Flak-Abteilung 685);
Replcement Abteilung in Frankfurt/Main, 1944 mobilised as leichte Flak-Abteilung 95.

Under: Luftgau XII (Flak-Ersatz-Regiment 2), later Luftgau VII and XIV

51780 belonged to the same unit until it's disbandment in November 1942. As Ian states, Le.Flak-Ausbildungs Abteilung 95 which then became Le.Flak Abteilung 685 in May 1942. The C would refer to the 2. Batterie of the unit.

However, you asked about 1943. On the 14th Oct. 1943 the FP number was reissued to the newly formed Stab J.G.110

According to my info JG 110 had FP Nr. 51781 !?!?!?!?!?!?!

That's interesting, just checked the Kannapin books and they do say JG 110 was FP Nr. 51780, however the CD version has it down as 51781!!!!

I know there are mistakes in the CD but the more I look at it the more I think it is a pile of s h i t e !!!

Even though i work in IT i still prefer a book over a CD.

JG 110 makes more sense given this context...
