Guys i have a relic helmet coming from Estonia ,can you tell me of anybattles that took place there in ww2 ,Thankyou James .IRELAND

1941 to 1944 really but i suppose Narva is best known. Try and find out where the helmet was dug up then you may have a chance of finding out when and even to what unit it may have come from.

very big battles in Narwa area (lasted 8 months) and also near Tartu (Dorpat) in 1944 ... Actually there were smaller battles in everywhere all over Estonia but Narwa and Tartu ones are the biggest - about 170 000 russians killed or wounded in Narwa area

Thanks for replies guys ,i have ordered a relic m36 russian helmet to compliment the german russian front helmets i have .The seller lives in Estoinia ,and im asuming it was dug there?I will ask in which specific area ?James/Ireland.
