The Footlocker of Stabsarzt von ROQUES, 22.I.D.

Hi Guys ! I recently purchased this trunk, Stabsarzt Friedrich-Karl von Roques, a descent from a french "Huguenotten" Family, son from General d. Infanterie Franz von Roques, with some little stuff, including a Bundeswehr visor indicating he was still serving after 1957.... I was seduced by the very well handpainted divisional insignia of the 22.I.D.

Of course, I will be very interested to get any additional infos about this Doctor and some more paper stuff, it if still exists....

I'm wondering if he was related in some way to General Karl von Roques and/or General Franz von Roques?


EDIT: Arrrr! Now I read your description "....son from General d. Infanterie Franz von Roques."
Then he's also nephew of Gen. Karl v. Roques!

"1904 heiratete er Hildegard Schülke, Tochter eines Ingenieurs aus Jena. Im Jahr 1906 wurde eine Tochter und 1914 der Sohn Friedrich Karl geboren, der später Arzt wurde. "
