    Hello,
    my friend ask me about selling this piece. He wants to know what should be the fair price for this piece today. Thanks all for help

    Looks like a fine and original j1 pilot.
    Think it was not stored properly over the years.
    It lost some detail and some parts are rusty.
    The pin looks to have some extra solder at the place where it touches the hinge.
    Might be a repair. Please post additional pictures of the catch.
    In that condition i would say 700€

      An original for me as well, but ground dug. The brass fittings take on a red color when they have been in the ground for many years which is the case with this example IMO.
