    Luftwaffe Para Cloth Badge

I want to know this badge is good or not.
Please tell me your thoughts. Sorry bad pictures.
    Thank you.

It is not an original. The details of the wreath and eagle, especially on the back, are bad.

I have looked and looked at this cloth FJ badge that started this thread and can not see why it is being declared bad .

The quality of the photos would appear to be the problem because it is an example where the cream filler thread on the reverse side is not prominent and hard to see.

Here is an original with a similar amount of cream filler thread on the reverse side to compare with. The silver thread of the wreath and the yellow thread of the eagle are spun around the cream filler thread to create the 3-D effect of the badge.

The badge I am showing is moth/ bug eaten which is always a good sign of no nylon or post-war synthetic in the wool, but sadly poor storage since the war.

IMO the thread starter looks to be an earlier production made from good quality thicker thread. This thicker thread combined with the poor quality of the photo is not helping bring out the detail which is there,

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
