    Hey Guys,

Finally got around to scanning my CEJ pilots badge so I thought I’d show it off.

    Hi Jordan,

beautiful CEJ pilot badge in nicklesilver.
Heavy wear on that one, looks like it spent many hours on the uniform.
Gorgeous patina on the wreath as well.
Desirable badge, the demand is higher than the supply.

              Hi Jordan,

Gorgeous early CEJ! Love the patina and wear on this example, for sure a worn example from the early days and sure it has some stories to tell. Great addition to your collection my friend.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I wonder if it is damage or done on purpose by the original pilot to stop it catching on things ?

Fairly typical damage for these J1s from what I have seen: mine is the same. The top right feathers are exposed and rather weak because of the deep cut outs

Lovely badge for me as well

Its not damage. These tips are quite solid. My opinions it was too sharp and get stuck on the wool and damage the tunic so pilot bent it on purpose. You saw thison many Jis. Also on many badges pin tips that ive been cut too remove the sharpness of the end on many examples. It was a comon pratice.
