    Orthenticity of Pilots badge.

Hi guys, I am interested in buying this Pilots badge but I know nothing about them so could someone please help me out and tell me if it is original or not. It looks well detailed and I was told made of nickel silver, it is heavy and has what looks like a Junker maker mark but I couldn't see it properly cos didn't have my specs. I forgot to take pics of the reverse but perhaps you can tell from the front if its ok and worth going back for another look, I took the pic on a higher resolution than can be put on the forum so had to take lower resolution pics of the pic, hope their good enough. Also is it a J2 and if so what would be the date for this badge. Thanks for any help.

    Russ.

It’s a good j3 pilot badge in nicklesilver, not j2.
The j3 is the last example in early material before switching to zinc.
From the front all looks good but make sure there are no repairs, as that seriously affects the value.

      Thanks very much.
Would you have any idea of the production date?

Very nice J3, end 1942 early 1943 for these.
