    LW-Paratrooper Badge with case

Paratrooper Badge presented here seems to be the one produced by Steinhauer & Lueck, Type A, eagle and wreath made of zinc.

It came with the early case, which does not match the badge.
Could you, please, suggest me, which case would be proper to match this piece? Would it be any mid to late war box, or S&L was using the specific one?
Also, the case shown here, is it good for the egg-shaped Assmann badge only or it can go with any early produced piece?

Thank you in advance for your comments and advice.

    Hi Klaus,

the para badge is indeed a Steinhauer & Lück badge with the oblong catch plate.
It surely does not match that case! The case is a beautiful example intended for early Deumer or Assmann.

      Hi Klaus,

I can only agree with Jelle, the badge is a fine original wartime S&L example, textbook in every regard for this maker.

The case is also a very nice original, but not for a later war S&L example like this. The case is a very uncommon 3-line variant, which were used for badges like the earliest thin-wreath, egg-shaped Assmann Para, etc.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
