Valuation on this Early B&NL Pilot Badge

    Hi all,

Saw this badge kicking about on the e-stand. Wondering what a fair value for it would be, given the broken pin. It's a beautiful badge regardless

Seller and I are also considering a trade. Would you guys say an 8 year ss medal and LW GAB are a fair trade for this pilot badge. IMO just the ss medal would be a fair trade but I am more than open to hearing your thoughts.

    Thank you all in advance.

    Hi
If you're seriously interested in Lw badges, do not buy this. In a moment you will find an undamaged badge, and this one will be difficult to sell. If only you want to have ... it's your decision how much you pay. Only my 3 cents

I also would recommend to wait for a complete one. If you buy this one, you will immediately be looking to upgrade it so why bother?

Value is typically cut by 50% when a badge is broken IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Despite the broken pin, badge is still in a good conition and the obverse is very beautiful. This piece would be great for displaying on a uniform. Specific medal collectors will search for an intact piece. Value... Always hard to say. I would say 350€.
