My Observers Badge but which case???

OK So I bought this very nice Luft Observers badge from a member here about 6 months back and been looking to marriage it to a case.

So now I found two. Each one is different from the other. Just wondering which one, if any, will be a fit for my badge.


My badge is shown here first manufactured by Deumer.


So here goes.

the lid on this one looks faded.

the lid on this one is much darker and the lettering is very different than box 1

IMO none of these boxes matches for your Deumer badge. The first one suits more to GWL, and the second is Late War Silver Lettering

Maybe I'm wrong, but in this badge there is also something that worries me

The first case is a fake. The second is more for late zinc observer. You need one if these 3 preferably the right one. Great Deumer badge.

Well, if this Observers badge needs to be discussed let's do it.

What's wrong with this one?

Anyone else feel it's bad?

Observer is good. Deumer is known for having the center barrel smaller from time to time. The wing its perhaps a bad trimming job but Gary's B observer has the same wings shape.

BTW...Seb thank you very much for the input as to the boxes I found and will pass on them and focus more for the box that I need for this award.

and whatever case you buy if it does not fit perfectly do not cram the lid down.

As for the award boxes because they are not a good fit for my badge I am going to pass on them both and keep searching for the right one.

As for the bad box I will contact the WAF member and inform him of this thread and let him make up his own mind.
