Looks like a late war original piece. Not sure about that catch either. I lhad liked to see a flatwire catch on there.

Hi guys,

Sorry to say, but this is a fake. The base metal is incorrect, with simulated bubbling to the finish which is not how originals look over time. Also the rivets are incorrect, trying to be like late-war Assmann pancake rivets but not. Hinge is not Assmann, and the catch is also wrong for Assmann. Bad to the bone.
