    Fallschirmschutzenabzeichen post card

Seeing as this is of a badge I thought I would post it here as well!

    Nice early Juncker badge!

    Regards,

Interesting postcard Neil. Is that part of a series?

ts not really that clear but I think I would agree to it being an early Juncker. Anything on the back?

Skip, nothing much on the back, just 'Unsere Luftwaffe' came with a couple of other Fallschirmjager post cards in the same series.

        Regards,

        Neil

Is that a Junker style eagle? Could someone post an early Junker to compare the eagles?

              Hi Neil,

Very interesting postcard! It does look more like the early Juncker than an Assmann (or one of the "egg" wreath examples). I can maybe just make out one notch on the swas (9 o'clock position). Can you make out the swas "notch" at the 1 o'clock position from the original card? That would seal it for me - not that I have any doubts about these rare early Junckers!

                Hi Mike

Here is a close up, it looks like my 1st patt Junckers by the claws.

                Regards,

                Neil
