    LW visor cap eagle

    Hello,

    I need help with this Assmann cap eagle. These are only pictures which I've got. I don't like it, but maybe I'm wrong.

    Wait for better opinions but I agree with you. I have a few 1st pattern cap eagles and they are hollow stamped, not solid backed like the one you show, the detail is better and the specimen you show doesnt look anything like the Assmann eagle shown in their catalog. I think these solid fakes with the big A and the date (38?) have been discussed before ...

      These massive Assmann eagles are fake, they're also available as 2nd model and luft pith helmet eagle, then there're eagle stick pins with the circle and year.. all made by one and the same person.
      The quality isn't like the real Assmann eagles.
