I thought I'd share this nice J1 Pilot that walked into the SOS last Friday.

I think it has a great look with just the right amount of wear. The cutout really gives it some depth. I have always loved the J1 pilots the best.

Nice badge but not nickle silver (neusilver) you can see it is a tombac on the wear to highlights and edge of wreath.

There are two different badges in the thread. The second badge (AndyC's) is definitely tombac.

My badge at the beginning of the thread shows every indication of being nickle silver.
