Opinion on para and 6 dot sliver CCC

Get offer on thses badge.
Need some more opinion on these badge.
LW para search some info.the all head,pin,leaf and the finish of the edge all questionable.
The 6 dot CCC have compare to ccc book but the result not even close the book or other info.the pin and hook so fat.
any other opinion for theses badge??
But the seller say there are examples on book.

Both fakes.

Nice thread for me because I put out books on these exact two badges When you say they don't match the pictures shown in these books, then you should be very wary and you are 99% chance looking at fakes. Not to say the books are perfect, but they are both very thorough and if you don't find matches then that is a bad sign. None of us have seen everything and there is a chance of finding an original that is not featured in the book, but that is a very slim occurrence. That is why its always best to post the badge here to get our members opinions because the forums are always up to date with the latest info versus books that were printed years ago.

For the badge The seller claim badge are (variant of Meybauer's it has a late war eagle riveted to an earlier war Wreath, perhaps made by sub-contractors as many big firms had subcontractors assemble badges etc).

Ha! Would love to see him provide any shred of evidence to support this claim. Dealers like to say things like this when they can't explain why the fake they are selling doesn't look right...
