        Wow, what a great looking Assmann badge.

        Catch as Brian stated replaced, but would be no problem for me for a badge like this.

          Indeed, gorgeous early Assmann Para in lovely worn condition. Lovely contrast of colors between the gold eagle and dark wreath. These early Paras are just works of art, really love the detail we see with them. A little surprised to see such a repair on an otherwise gorgeously-preserved example, but it is what it is. Doesn't detract at all from the obverse IMO. A real beauty.
