Bear with me please – I’m trying to rebuild my knowledge about Luftwaffe awards after a long lay off. I have recently bought an Aufklarungs clasp which I believe to be a Juncker. This has no maker’s mark or stamping on the reverse, so your comment is reassuring to me. However, in the Originals Gallery, at http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=768841 we can see a Juncker example which is marked. I hope I’m not confused, and with respect I’d suggest that this clasp as made by Juncker will sometimes be marked, sometimes not (?)

Everything wrong. Soft details, hardware, maker mark, base material, rivet. Juncker clasps can be marked or unmarked, but with completely different maker mark and place.

Applying that logic would you consider that this badge is a fake?

Juncker marked their bomber and recon clasps, not often but they did.

I tend to agree with Seb especially as there are two on Ratisbons auction with reasonable bids on them Kevin.

100% Junker. Not even close to a Juncker.

Does it mean that is that L12 C.E.Junker Berlin original?
