[QUOTE=Thomas Durante;7976391]Alex, any badge that was made with brass, dome-topped rivets like we see here, and brass catch is most certainly made by Juncker IMO. Whether it be IMME or JMME.
IMME was a separate company from Juncker, but in the early days I believe Juncker made products for IMME and IMME sold them. Later on, IMME started to produce their own badge using Juncker supplied parts. And then eventually IMME made their own awards completely.
If you have my Paratrooper badge book, I lay this out in the IMME chapter.

It no doubt sounds presumtuous coming from a flunkie but the theory that Juncker made Pilot badges for IMME/JMME and Deumer (lets not forget Deumer!) BEFORE these 2 makers finally got their act together to produce their own dies/badges doesnt make any sens to me...
1) For one thing the only IMME/JMME (and Deumer) Pilot badges we see using Juncker dies are of the J2 or J3 variety; you never see a J1 design/die strike marked by IMME/JMME or Deumer which you would surely see if Juncker had been making them for these 2 makers from the "early days"
2) For another, both IMME/JMME and Deumer have a thin early style badge of their own which is contemporary (design wise) to the J1 (and A1) thin pilot badges but very different from the Juncker ones
3) To make matters worse, both IMME/JMME and Deumer also have a distinctive second pattern badge of their own that is about contemporary to the introduction of the J2 design wise
So IMO it would be the other way around. Both IMME/JMME and Deumer produced their own distinctive pilots badges (like Juncker & Assmann did) of a first and second type and only began to rely on Juncker parts or dies (the biggest maker) somewhere in the J2 period when they no longer had the internal resources to produce their own dies because their die-makers, retired, died or were succunded to more pressing war related tasks requiring such specialized employees
Just my opinion
